A diary of sorts dedicated to documenting glimpses of my life with Fuji mini instant film whilst learning how to use the Instax Mini 90 camera along the way.

29.06.2018 Ivy Turns Two In Heaven

Happy second heavenly birthday to our Ivy. I can’t believe we should have had a little two year old running around in October if it had been a normal pregnancy. We’re thankful for our boy but miss you dearly and struggle with the idea of not having you or maybe not having him if you had lived, now we know what it’s like to love you both. Your little brother was held a little tighter today in thanks of what we have and in sorrow for what we are missing which is you. X — at Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park.

Officially full term today at 37 weeks! Pat and I couldn't be happier! It’s weird how my belly looks flat in some spots. I read it’s because of the way the baby is positioned inside there. I've had multiple cups of tea today already due to the rainy, cold weather. — in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia

11.06.2018 Aunty Katherine Finally Gets A Cuddle

Even though Aunty Katherine was there for the birth she never had the chance to cuddle the baby. Today was her first time. The baby had a hard time recognising her without her looking down the barrel of her lens. Nevertheless he loved the beanie she handmade for him and the cuddles! This was taken around 3:30pm in the afternoon in our room but due to the instax flash it looks like it was taken at night. - In Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia

First snap on instant mini 90 on our way down to our pregnancy specialist appointment. Made a quick stop to see some of our love ones passed including Ivy. — at Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park.

    03.06.2018 The Surprise Birth.

One minute you're having a coffee and dumplings date with your friend you haven't seen for so long. Then a few hours later, you're giving birth in the wee hours of the morning 3 weeks early! And a few hours after that introducing the youngest Aunty to her youngest nephew later that day in the not so wee hours of that morning. - at John Hunter Hospital

02.06.2018 Coffee date with Sarah at Three Monkeys Cafe

We had a long overdue catch up today! Sarah chose Three Monkeys on Darby St and I chose to sit outside upstairs where the light would be nice for a photo opportunity. It was a bonus that the walls were red outside and a double bonus when Sarah turned up in her outfit! I was also gifted the most beautiful bath hamper for our baby filled with cute sponges that looked like whales and beautiful bathing products. - at Three Monkeys Cafe
